Courtyard Niagara Falls

Has anyone stayed at the Courtyard Marriott at Niagara Falls? Is it walking distance to the Falls?

No, and yes. Never stayed there, but have walked by it, and then continued walking to the edge of the Niagara Gorge. Falls are another three - four minutes by foot.

BAK

I was right across the street from the Courtyard in 2000. It is on Victoria Ave., I believe, and a few blocks walk from the Falls. The location is good, if you are looking for lots of restaurants and kitsch-y tourist attractions. I would say a nice ten minute stroll would get you to the Falls via Clifton Hill.

We stayed there last June. We had a King room with whirlpool tub. It is a short walk to the falls via Clifton Hill or stairs at the base of the Skyton Tower. There is a small indoor pool and a small outdoor pool (seasonally open). We tried the restaurant for the breakfast buffet (expensive). The hotel was nice, but very busy and very expensive on the weekends in the summer.
Good hotel for families.

Stayed there last July. We were there with an 8 and 11 yr old. Walking was the only way to go. Perfect location (if you don't mind the honky-tonk atmosphere). I suggest you eat elswhere. Plenty of restaraunts close by. The hotel is pricey$$. The Falls at night are spectacular.

Sorry, CHT. I meant to say that EATing at the hotel is pricey. Otherwise, it was very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again.
