Cosmopolitan Hotel

I have booked into The Cosmopolitan Hotel in d/t Toronto for 4 nights soon, and wondering if anyone knows anything about it.

The hotel is brand new and located one block south of King and Yonge. The reviews I have seen of the hotel gave it 5 stars.

There are numerous restaurants nearby (try Izakaya a Japanese noodle house on Front St or Spring Rolls). All major theatres are an easy walk away from here.

Thank you for the tip. I'm very familiar with the area, and was getting a little worried when I couldn't find much news related articles on the hotel.
We were last in Toronto a short while ago, and heard nothing of it then, and I did a search on the Toronto Star website, also, and found nothing. I didn't think to check the Toronto Life website... but I will now. In any event, I'm looking forward to escaping the Florida heat!

I've never even noticed the place, and I am in the neighborhood sev3ral times a week.

I'll take a better look nixt time I'm near there.

I've never seen a hotel open on time with full services, and I used to be in the business.

If it is connected to the Pantages (by ownership, not tunnels) you might want some sort of agreement that you can use Pntages facilities, too.

Here are four reviews at trip advisor.

Thanks for directing me to Trip Advisor! Everyone raved about this hotel, so now I can't wait to see it.

My cynicism-alert light is flashing in regard to Tripadvisor. There's no good reason for this, other than I've been in several discussions in the past day or two about fraud, marketing, lies, fibs, and related topics.

And I'm not going to be near the place for a few days, so can't go look with my very own eyes.

And I can't find a web site, let alone a web site with real photos of the real hotel, ...

That said, maybe some other Toronto people will be nearby, and will take a look.

Can't find the website? :-)http://www.cosmotoronto.com/
I walked by it a few months ago looks like a nice spot.

I've been to the web site, now.

It's oneof those information-free web sites; a lot of platitudes and a flattering bio of the owner -- he used to be the youngest taxpayer in Isreal -- but no sense of reality or currency about the hotel.
