Help!

We are heading to Victoria in two weeks and need a place to stay. The Admiral is full and the Embassy is too high at 150. a night. Does anyone know of anything reasonable downtown? I've tried a few on the web but most are pretty expensive or booked etc. We would like to pay around 70 to 90 dollars per night. Thanks for your help. Marilyn

Sounds like a bed and breakfast might meet your needs. Check http://bbcanada.com/ Good luck!

If the Elk Lake B and B is still in operation by Gil and Pam Parsons it is a nice place to stay. It is north of town on the Pat Bay Highway, but well set back from the road on a huge lot, with trees and whatnot. Our room had a private bath and a queen bed. Good breakfast. Even if it not run by the same folks, the location, house, and furnishings probably have not changed.
PS. Is that price of 150 in US or Canadian dollars? If Canadian remember it converts to about 70% of that amount in US $$. So 150 C is about 105 US.
