CasinoRama in Orillia - just tell me if the rooms are worth the price!
Trivial detail...but heading to a concert and wish to stay overnight...convenience of being in the same building overnight..but at 229.00?..are the rooms worth it at all..is the resort worth it? (We didn't even pay that price in downtown Montreal last month!)

Oops, I got so tired of checking with no response that I just posted this new one...sorry guys, just got the info from the other posting now...Sherri, you seem to be in the same situation..but 3 nights at such a price..but the Days Inn is too much of an extreme the other way quality wise I would think?
|
Well, two things. You dont want the price so low that you end up staying in
a place no so desireable, but the other is, if you are having a good time at the shows, gambling, eating , drinking, it is nice to be able to go right up the eleavator to your room. So I guess it boils down to a matter of price vs. convenience.... |
Exactly, we are going tomorrow to see Cindy Lauper..husband's birthday present..we don't even gamble..perhaps a few nickel slots, but I thought if we went earlier we could use the hot tub, pool if it was nice and lounge in nicer surroundings than the Days Inn across the street and, you are right, if we decide to have a couple drinks we need not worry about driving anywhere at night..we will do it and if you are interested you can post of this sight Sunday and I will let you know if it was worth it...there is a B and B call the Stone church Inn that has been recommended here but I am iffy about these and the beds are not king...take care

So, we stayed one nice and the rooms are very, very nice...more like a large suite, with a big tv, gas fireplace, living room area and lovely bathroom..I would say Hilton-Hyatt quality...we ate a Weir's downstairs..24 hour dining establishing..food was reasonable and very good..we were pleasantly surprised. Sherri if you have further questions, just email me at [email protected]
