Car- Moped Rental on Mayne Island
 

We will be staying on Mayne Island for the month of August. I am wondering if there is a way to rent a car or moped for a few days on the island or if I have to rent before I get there. I will be flying in to Vancouver. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I know Mayne Island well-a month is 28 days too long.b(
As of last month you could rent a canoe or kayak but not a bicycle or moped.
Perhaps this will change by next year but given the dearth of visitors I doubt it.

Hi I agree with Sam a Month on Maine would be too long unless you want total peace and quiet. You can take a car on the ferry but you need to make a reservation. I would suggest splitting your trip between maine and a few other gulf islands or maine and vancouver island
