Canadians living in NYC

Hello.

I am a Canadian living in NYC and need to renew my Canadian passport. I am looking for suggestions of places to go to take Canadian Passport Photos. I know that there are very strict guidlines. Any suggestions of places to go in the NYC area? I'm hoping not to have the application sent back to me due to an unacceptable passport photo.

Please advise.
Thanks,

First hand info from a friend who is a Canadian living in rural New York.
She printed the forms from the website and specifies that they are different forms than I would use. These forms contained the photo specifications. She took these to a Kinkos and had correct photos done first time.

So it can be that easy.
ps What is a Kinkos?

Kinko's was a chain of stores that offered printing, copying, and binding services. You could get them to do the work for you, or you could use their equipment to do it yourself. My son used them when he had to meet a deadline for printing a school report and our printer went on the fritz. They've since been bought out by FedEx, and now are called FedEx Kinko's. I didn't know they offered passport photos, but it sounds like a logical extension of their product line.

Wow, thanks. I didn't know that Kinkos takes passport photos. That's great.

I had to renew my passport while I was living in Boston. Yes, I did it at Kinkos too with no problem.

Enjoy-la!
