Canadian Rockies Guidebook Suggestions?

Looking for suggestions for good guidebooks to the Canadian Rockies. We do a lot of internet research before our trips but still find it nice to have a book in hand when we're there. Books that have solid maps and good information on hiking would be the most useful to us. Thanks!

The title doesn't come to mind immediately, but there is a hiking guide by Brian Patton that seems to be recommended pretty regularly.

The Patton book is "The Canadian Rockies Trail Guide", co-written with Bart Robinson. It has appeared in numerous editions and is considered the classic guide to hiking in the Rockies.

You might also look for Brian Patton's "Parkways of the Canadian Rockies: A Touring Guide to Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and Kootenay National Parks" which is a driving guide, but also has descriptions of many short hikes.

I have "Classic Hikes in the Canadian Rockies" and "Walks and Easy Hikes in the Canadian Rockies" both by Graeme Pole and think they're good books. Classic hikes has both single and multi-day hikes. There's also another book in the same series "The Canadian Rockies" which is more general/background info. I don't have that one, so not sure how good the info in it is.

"Don't Waste your time in the Canadian Rockies" is a FANTASTIC hiking guide. They do a great job of steering you away from the mobbed, overrated hikes and toward the real gems.
