Canada: Watching the Boston Red Sox in the Playoffs???

Hi,

Hope some Canadian sports fans will help me out. We are leaving this Friday, 10/10, for 4 nights in Quebec City (Frontenac) and 4 nights in Montreal (Nelligan).

The MLB playoffs are televised in the US on the TBS network. Are any Canadian stations picking up the playoffs? Hoping to catch our Red Sox in the ALCS when we return from dinner.

P.S. We also have tickets for the Bruins vs. the Canadiens at the Bell Centre for Wednesday's game - should be fun!!

Same question... though for the Phillies in Nova Scotia...

Let's go Phils!

The ALCS and NLCS will both be carried in Canada on Sportsnet. Your hotels should have this on their cable systems.

Enjoy the Bruins/Canadiens game--there are few better places to watch hockey than the Bell Centre.

Laverendrye,

Thanks so much for your response.

Really looking forward to the hockey game - the banners, the atmosphere and the history of a great hockey club.

Asteins12 - good luck to your Phillies - although most in Boston are rooting for a Sox vs Dodgers World Series - ya know, Manny Being Manny.

Thx... I actually spend about 2 days a week in Boston and wouldn't mind seeing Phils - Sox... basically, I'll root for any team that beats a New York team.
