Campbell River to Whistler

Hi, husband and I are ending a 30 day holiday with 8 nights on Vancouver Island. 3 nights in Victoria, 3 in Tofino and 2 in Campbell River. We then wish to return to Whistler for 3 nights, and Vancouver for 3 before returning to UK. We will drop car off when we arrive in Vancouver. To "save" a night, We would like to do the journey from Campbell river to Whistler in one day, accepting it will be a long day, but it will allow us to have 3 nights in Whistler.

Have seen the route, including ferry from Nnaimo and really would appreciate someone saying it is a reasonable thing to do and we Are not trying to do the impossible!

Thank you in advance.

Nope, you're not trying to do the impossible. It's completely doable. What time of the year will be you coming here? In the summer months, the days are long, making long driving days all the more doable than in the winter.

Thanks for the reassurance! We are coming in September so hopefully will be a reasonable length of day. We are spending all of September in Canada - from Canadian Rockies, Clearwater, Kelowna, then making our way to Vancouver Island and finishing in Vancouver. Can't wait! Many thanks again.
