Calgary Stampede Question

I have another question for all of you experts. We're planning to get tickets to see the Stampede while we are in Calgary next summer. Ticketmaster's seating chart for the rodeo arena is somewhat difficult to put together. There is a large grandstand with 3 levels. And then there is another group of seats -- the priciest -- called the Infield. What the seating chart doesn't show is how the overall stadium is configured and where all of the action takes place. Can anyone give any advice on the best location to sit? Can you see the action better from the top tier in the grandstand or better from the middle of the lower tier? Are the Infield seats worth it? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.
J

Your chances of actually gettiing infield seats are slim and none; and none just left town. These seats are sold out within minutes of going on sale in September. The best seats would be the lower part of the main grandstand and as dead center as you can get.

Just went on the website, you should try for main level 1, platinum seats.

Sometimes we just get "RUSH" seats then stand around the stage area where you can get relatively close to the action.
