How is this restaurant? We would like to have lunch there when we visit the gardens Thanks.

Assuming you mean the dining room restaurant, it's been years since I've been there, but the hohum quality of the overpriced food was overshadowed by the incredibly bad service. So - I haven't been back. I prefer their cafeteria.

The gardens seem like a perfect place to have a picnic. Is this frowned upon? Do they allow food onto the grounds? Thanks!

Jill,<BR>They say they do have picnic tables for this. I don't know where on the grounds they are located though.

Marianne, I'm glad that you started this thread!<BR>My husband and I had planned to at in their restaurant, but since it isn't great, a picnic sounds like the best option. Thanks, April!
