Bond Place or Strathcona in Toronto?

Hi. Which one of the two would you recommend as far as location, safety and parking security?

Thank you.

Stayed at Bond Place last month. Safe and quiet, secure garage parking, adequate rooms (but nothing to write home about). Great location 2 blocks from Eaton Centre, Yonge St, theatres, etc. Dundas Square under construction at present makes walking a bit cumbersome. Couldn't tell you about the Strathcona. Enjoy!

It does not matter.

Bond Place is near the giant Eaton Centre, Strathcona is closer to more excellent restuarants, but there are some near Bond Place, and it's not all that far to walk from one to the other anyway.

If you want to visit camera store, pick Bond Place. If you want to go to harbourfront, pick Strathcona. Both are a block from the subway system.

Or flip a coin.

If you see Toronto photos: Bond Place is just one block east of the Eaton Centre. Strathcona is right beside (west of) the Royal York Hotel.

Stayed at Bond Place Hotel for 5 nights a couple of weeks ago. I found it very reasonable, clean and in a safe area but with lots of street construction going on. The room is small with two twin beds, no fridge in room or coffee maker. However, there's a coffee shop downstairs and a cocktail lounge in the basement.

Not familiar with the other hotel. However, I'd stay at Bond Place again because it was so reasonable. Got a booking through Lodging.com and the price came out to approx. $420+ for 5 nights including taxes.

We just got back from Toronto. We stayed for the first time at Strathcona, and I really liked it for a good value. We have stayed many times at the Bond place. Both are clean with small rooms. We upgraded to a corporate room at the Strathcona (2 double beds in a larger room), and I would do that again. Bond Place is a bit cheaper. The bathroom was newer and nicer than those at the Bond. I like the location of the Strathcona better. Lots of good restaurants nearby. In the middle of the Theater district. Nearer the waterfront. Parking is two blocks away for $12 a night. The next time we go to Toronto for a play we'll stay at the Strathcona.
