Blogging from MONTREAL - Thurs 7/21- Sunday, 7/24

Hey everyone, I am traveling to Montreal this weekend and I will be posting my restaurant and travel journal live via Blackberry on my blog. If you want to follow my adventures and see what I do and where I eat, check it out. I will be in Montreal from Thursday, 7/21 thru Sunday, 7/24.

I'm going to enjoy your blog; thanks for doing it, you write well !
Can't wait to read the rest, enjoy our city, it's always fun as a montrealer to explore through a tourist's eye....

I had to go back and read your blog; I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Nice writing and interesting comments.

Too bad you had not caught my post about Ben's being on my list of places to avoid......
Au Pied de Cochon is also on my list; there are far many other better places to eat but at least you enjoyed your meal.....

I only half agree with you about Old Montreal; I would say the nicer area is west of St. Laurent street, very interesting galleries and shops, specially along St. Paul street. But there are far too many tacky shops, alas....

Thanks for the blog, a fun read for anyone considering a trip to montreal..

Hi Richard,

I'm lovin' the blog, especially all the food photos...yum!

Just wondering which LIBERTY TRAVEL you called to get such a great travel package to Montreal. You've totally inspired me to go in September.

Any advice would be appreciated because we are on a slight budget.

Thanks a million,
Betty

I think Liberty made a big mistake with my reservation. It was suppose to be $690 per person based on a double occupancy. Based on that they would have collected about $230 for the room. Well based on me going alone they charge me $115 for the room and i think they only collected half!
