Best Western Primorose - Toronto

Hello! Planning to travel to Toronto at the end of June for the first time. Has anyone heard from Best Western Primrose Hotel in Carlton Street.
Quality and location?

Hi - I've brought an older thread to the top for you entitled "Live music near the Toronto Primrose" - there's some discussion about the hotel there.

I stayed there and would not recommend it for location, neighborhood, and relative price for what you can get for the same money or a little bit more. Remember the US dollar is worth $1.52 in Canada, so a $200 room will only cost you about $130.00. Your first trip to toronto would be better served by a stay at the Westin Harbour Castle, Crowne Plaza, or Hilton...The room count in Toronto is high and there are lots of Summer specials... a little research will keep you away from Carlton.

See the Comfort Suites question. Primrose is a couple of blocks north.

It should cost at least $25 per night less than the other places mentioned.

BAK

We stayed there a few nights. It was a pleasant stay, although nothing special. Its not terribly close to most main attractions. We walked to the Skydome and CN Tower but it was a long walk and had to get a taxi back.
