Is it worth renting a car than taking the bus? Do I need a car in Whistler?
The bus deal comes with the airline package doesn't seems to be so cheap. $120/person round trip. Never took a bus, no idea ...

No need for a car if all you're going to do is stay in the village and spend money there.

If the Bus fits with your Airline schedule then go for it-sit on the driver's side on the way up.

True, compared to Vancouver or Victoria, Whistler is expensive. But as world renowned ski resorts got, (e.g. Aspen or those in the Alps), Whistler is more than reasonable.

Good news! I was concerned about the prices + USD performance. Skied in Switzerland. Didn't find things exceptionally expensive. If Whistler is cheaper, I'll really love Canada!
