Best Time to GO?

Planning a trip to Canadian Rockies/Vancouver/Victoria/Whistler/Seattle.
What's the best months to go weather wise?
Are the summer months really "packed" with tourist? Thanks!

Best months to go are June thru September with the best weather mid July to mid August being the sunniest time. Large crowds are rarely a problem except perhaps on the streets of Banff and Whistler but in fact they are nowhere near the crowds that you'ld find in Niagara Falls or Theme Parks. This year in fact tourism is down significantly and there are very few crowds anywhere.

September - not as crowded as June, July and August

I've seen it snow almost every month of the year in the park......go figure. But I agree with September being the best month, but not too late as snow sticks as of October.

Make sure you do the Columbia Ice Fields Tour, as it is worth every penny, very interesting and under appreciated. So Big that Seattle, Vancouver and Central park can all fit inside the Ice Field.....I didn't know that it was so large until the tour :) Sandie
