I would add that on Sunday nights coming back into the US, the lines stay long late into the evening (I've had friends wait until 9 PM to come back and they still had to wait two hours). I'd strongly suggest either using the Blaine truck crossing (there are usually still long lines, but not quite as bad), or even better, driving over to the Abbotsford/Lynden crossing (although if you're staying in Blaine, and I seem to remember from other posts that you are, then this may involve too much driving out of your way to be worth the time you'll save at the crossing itself).

Going in to Canada, there's rarely more than a 15-20 minute wait even at the main I-5 Blaine crossing, but the earlier in the day you go, the better.
