I would recommend Ginger (on ave. des Pins, just east of boulevard St-Laurent).
I have heard that there are other places that rival this one, but this one is amazing in my opinion and I have had quite a bit of sushi experience.

The best Sushi in Montreal is at Treehouse. They have the best Sushi Chef in Montreal. Check out their website for their unbelievable menu. The website is www.kaizen-sushi bar.com

If you want to get sushi to go, I love Kashin on Cote des Neiges just north of Queen Mary. It's not been around all that long, but the quality of their sushi is decidedly superior to other places I've been.
