Best Restaurants/Bistros, Quebec City

We will be in Quebec City for 4 days in late Sept. I'm a "foodie." Any recommendations for French restaurants/bistros? Price not a problem. Thanks.

We spent 3 nights in Quebec City this past June. The food there is incredible! We loved L'Echaude and Toast. L'Echaude is a bistro style restaurant. At Toast we had one of the best meals I have ever had. If you go there, try to be seated on the patio. Both restaurants are in the lower part of the town, around the corner from Hotel Dominion 1912 which we also loved.

the restaurant "Panache" at the hotel Auberge St. Antoine is supposed to be amazing. One of the best in Canada.

There is also a very interesting post on trip advisor from Aug 06 that might help you. Here's the link which you will have to copy and paste.

Hi sardinelakedon,

There is also a place called Le Cochon D'Ingue. I went there for a late breakfast with my boyfriend and it was great! The sweets in the window looked DELICIOUS, but we were too full to attempt any lol!
It's a cool/cute place, good food and good service.

We didn't partake in any fine dining while traveling with our toddler but we enjoyed Le Cochon down in La Petite Champlain for a casual dinner. They have their own yummy version of poutine!

I had some excellent and unique chocolates
