Best Place To Buy A Disposable Phone in Halifax, NS
My DH and I will be spending 13 days in Nova Scotia at the end of June, flying in and out of Halifax from the US, and I'd like to have a cell phone just for making a few local calls. Are disposable phones available in Halifax? About how much are they and where would be the best place to get one? WalMart? The airport?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Sorry, I can't answer your question, other than to say that cell phone service in Canada is among the most expensive in the world and the concept of "disposable phones" sounds a little strange to us Canadians.
Have you checked with your service provider in the US, to see if you can buy a package for usage in Canada? That might be cheaper than buying a phone for short-term use and then ditching it.

Checked out Best Buy site. You can purchase a no-contract phone for $14.99. Probably same at any Walmart. Not sure how the pay-as-you-go works, but probably doable.
