best place for island kayak camping in eastern nova scotia?
We're experienced kayakers and don't want a guided tour - we like to camp on islands in scenic areas and move every few days. Are there places (like designated wilderness areas or Crown land) where you can just pick an island to camp on off the eastern shore?

I looked at a lot of the Islands and I am not that familiar with the ones on the Eastern shore. Perhaps Tourism NS might be able to help you out or Natural resources.
Warmer waters are on the Northumberland side (Pictou).
