Baker Creek Chalets

Has anybody stayed at the Baker Creek Chalets? Any comment?

Hi, Friends of mine stayed there last year. Nice chalets but you are close to the train tracks... so unless you're a sound sleeper...!

Andie, thanks so much for your info. The Chalets looks very good in the website, but with a toddler, I don't think we want to sleep next to railroad track.

Ouch! That would definitely be a no-no with a toddler! Hope you find a nice spot. Is it your first time in the Rockies?

Andie, yes, this is our first trip to the rockies. Due to the toddler situation, we are staying at Four Points Sheraton (figure it will easier than B&B) in Canmore, know much about that place?

Hello again Emily,

The Sheraton Four Points is right on the highway in Canmore. It's fairly new and it's fine as a "base camp". The village of Canmore itself is right across the road. Since you're staying only a couple of nights, it's fine. You will be just a few minutes from the gate of Banff National Park. There is an entry fee of $10 good for 24 hours, so if you get in at 10am, you'll be good to get in again the next day before 10am. Are you just spending 2 days? (it's way to short!!)Where do you plan to go?
