b and b's in nova scotia
Hello
Has anyone had a good experience with a b and b in Halifax and along the Cabot Trail? Thanks |
We stayed at the Milligan Home in Waverly, near Halifax, last summer. Here is the link
http://www.checkinnovascotia.com/Pub...telCode=YHZ079 It was pleasant, and they had a great breakfast in the morning. They were a little strict on the arrival time though, so you would want to clarify with them, when they want you there. I also really liked the Foghorn B&B in Louisburg...not really near the Cabot Trail, but it was a very lovely place. |

We stayed here many times and found it to be the best B&B in Halifax. www.thewatersedgeinn.com (Baddeck) Ask for a room with views of the lighthouse. |
I highly recommend the following:
Halifax area- Turtle Grove B&B in Dartmouth Cabot Trail- Lynwood Inn in Baddeck. Another good choice on Cape Breton, although not on the Cabot Trail, is the Haus Treuburg in Port Hood. |
I just enjoyed a two-night stay with Catherine (Kay) and Al at the Captain Spry Bed and Breakfast in Halifax, http://www.captainsprybedandbreakfast.ca/index.htm. They were great! Very welcoming and offered a nice breakfast.
They're right on a good bus route to leave the car behind (don't have to worry about finding parking) and tour around the city. |
