B&B Recommendations
We will be touring NF in late August this year. Does anyone have any first hand recommendations for B&Bs in the following areas: Stephenville-Corner Brook; Gros Morne; St. Anthony; Gander; St. John's. Like everybody else, we'd like a friendly host, nice setting, comfortable room with a private bath. Any advice will be appreciated.

Nancy and Ernie Hughes

Hi Ernie,
My husband and I are visiting in late July for the first time.
My in-laws, who visited Newfoundland last year, very strongly recommended "Entente Cordiale" in Portland Creek, a bit north of Rocky Harbor {Gros Morne}.It is right on the water, and looks quite lovely on their web site. The owners seem friendly {I e-mailed them for information}.They also have a dining room and serve dinner.
Have a great trip - Molly

Try Adams House B&b just outside Cornerbrook and about 40 to Gros Morne

See www.adamsbandb.com --also seen on Canadabbhosts.com if above address is not correct.

G Mitchell
Vancouver,BC

Ernie & Nancy:

There are a few B&B's in St. John's that are located withing walking distance to Signal Hill, downtown, Quidi Vidi. Bonne Esperance, At Witts Inn, Banberry House, Compton House, etc. I'm not too familar with B&B's off the Avalon. I think I've mentioned Hospitality Newfoundland before as a good site at www.tourism.nf.ca to find B&B's. Enjoy our province.
