B&B help in Toronto

Any rec for a B&B in Toronto, either downtown or near a subway line?

bump, any hints or advice?

I can tell you where NOT to stay:

I stayed at the Mulberry Tree http://bbtoronto.com/mulberrytree/index.htm - it LOOKED great and got extremely good reviews - it turned out that the hostess was a major snob and I felt so uncomfortable. At breakfast everything had to be in its place. She huvered around to make sure you didn't move anything. It was a nightmare!

I wish I would have stayed at my second choice! He seems like a lot of fun and offered to cook me an English dinner if I stayed with him (I made a BIG mistake not staying here!)

Of course, I don't know exactly what you are looking for.

While in Toronto, DO GO AND SEE THE FAMOUSE PEOPLE PLAYERS!! (An incredible experience!)

Thank you. Anyone else?

Although there are some B&Bs in Toronto, it is not really a B&B kind of place. That's one of the reasons you're not getting any recommendations.

Wallace/Gromit:
Did you do a Trip Report? If so, I'd love to read it.
How did you get a personal reply from pimblets? I just got a form letter - and was disappointed as I'd written a (ahem) rather nice email. Maybe someone else does the office work for him?

Thana,
Have you had any luck yet?
