ATM Niagara Falls

Where am I most likely to find Bank Atm's in Niagara Falls?

Thanks

(And if they are everywhere, I appologize)

Yes, they are everywhere.

Two kinds -- "real" bank ATMs, which usually have lower fees, and "white labvel" ATMS, which are branded with a bunch of names, non of them real banks, with usually much higher rates.

The real bank machines are, of course, at bank branches, but they are also at stores, hotels, etc. The expensive ones are usually in bars and restaurants and stores.

Some gas statins have bank machines and some gas stations have white label machines.

The Casinos at the Falls also seem to have several convenient ATMs... I wonder why?

We never did find a REAL bank ATM, and I was looking pretty hard. We had to use the one that charges $3. Oh well. I never saw a bank branch until NOTL, and that one did not have an ATM outside, maybe there was one in the lobby. (Bank of Montreal).

We also never saw a gas station until we asked someone at the Old Angel Inn Pub in NOTL.

I guess my question wasn't stupid after all.

Our B&B host said that the casino ATMs are free, but I didn't believe that. They looked like all the other ones that charge $3. And one said it was a $20 limit. Are there free ones in the casinos??

There is a ScotiaBank on Victoria Ave just north of Clifton Hill. I believe there is also a gas station right there (although I didn't stop so I'm not positive).

To find "regular" type places (i.e., banks, drug stores, gas stations, etc.), you have to move off the Parkway and go into the actual town of Niagara.

We did walk on Victoria Ave., either missed it or it was the other way. That was the kind of info that would have helped when I first posed the question. But this is good to know for the next time we visit, thanks!

Sorry, I was still on my trip when you posted... :)

We are going next month...
I was just looking on the Scotia Bank website and the ATMs in the area of Niagara Falls are on Victoria Street new Morrison Street and at Foodland on Morrison Street. These look a little out of the way on the map as far as walking.

Any other specific bank ATMs that are closer to Clifton Hill?

I just looked at the top 6 banks in Canada according to one website, and the only one I could find was at a 7-11 on the corner of Ferry St. and Stanley Ave. (a CIBC one).

An abundance of "real" bank ATMs in Niagara is becoming more a myth to me.

I have a few options I guess. I thought some of the hotels had them though? But not from what I've seen in person and online.
