Don't know the b&b, but I've walked thru this neighborhood. Very charming, quiet area of tree lined streets. It is on the fringe of the gay village if this is an issue to you. You are a short walk to the St. Denis/plateau area which is very lively, and a 25 minute walk or 10 minute Metro ride to the downtown.
