any suggestions for 20-day NS, PEI?
hi,
we are planing to drive around NS, PEI for 20 days Aug 9-29, got a basic plan, but not idea if it makes sense in terms of time frame?
Aug 10 Halifax
Aug 12-14 Port Hawkesbury for Canso Causeway 50th Anniversary Celebration
is it worth 3 days? events we want to attend are during eve, any suggestions for day trip while there?
Aug 15-17 Bay of Fundy, suggestions?
Aug 18-19 Charlottetown, Parade, Horse Race
Aug 20-22, around PEI, Suggestions?
Aug 23-28, Cape Breton
Q1: time frame ok for each place?
Q2: any eateries, good food, but not pricy?
Q3: music, at dock during lunch, or in pubs at nite, or ceilidhs, or concerts to recommend?
Q4: LobsterBoil, where can we find LobsterBoil at community events, instead of having lobsters in a fine dining only?
Q5: WhaleWatching: where is the best? Bay of Fundy? Cape Breton? or PEI?
Q6: easy sea kayaking, where?
Q7: need a BB in Port Hawkesbury for Aug 11-13, for about $50/nite for two adults...Harbourview BB is fully booked, so is Judy's, any others at this price?
or do u know anyone living in Port Hawkesbury region that are interested in offering a double rm to two adults for the 3 nites within the price range?
Q8: Camping sites: A: Port Hawkesbury area?
B: Bay of Fundy? C: PEI? D: Cape Breton?
Any help is deeply appreciated! Many thanks in advance!

No, you don't need any other reservations for Buskers!
If you like seafood you will enjoy the Chowder House in Neil's Harbour, a little village in northern Cape Breton. It's not fancy, but it is right on the docks in a working fishing village - and they serve whole clams!! Yummy!
If you really like out of the way places, try camping at Meat Cove, in the extreme north of Cape Breton. Very isolated.
There's a lot to think about in your post! I'll write more when something relevant occurs to me!
