Any buzz on the new Playa del Sol resort in Kelowna?
Due to open Sept. this year, does anyone have any info on it? It is going to be offered thru Interval Intl. and I thought perhaps we might get our request in for next year early.

canuckuphereathome Jun 11th, 2007 02:09 PM a reply from them saying they were no longer associated with Interval International.

What is with my mind today. This thread is about a Mexican resort in Kalowna. Another thread has a marineland in Niagra. What's next, London bridge in Arizona?

Actually it may be a Mexican resort name but it is in Kelowna, B.C.

Canuck icithecat is just having fun with you. There is a marineland in Niagara and the London Bridge is in Arizona. I love having someone with a sense of humour on this board!!!

I LOVE the London Bridge in Arizona story (urban myth or not, its a very common story) - evidently a very rich Arizona businessman decided that he wanted to buy the bridge - he offered and the City of London agreed enthusiastically. The bridge was carefully disassembled and shipped to Arizona. When it was reassembled, the businessman complained that they'd sent the wrong bridge. He had evidently gotten the names of the iconic Tower Bridge and London Bridge mixed up...

I know the first time we went to Lake Havasu I was expecting to see a rather large bridge looming in the distance. I was of course very surprised to see the little foot bridge. It goes back to horse and carriage days. Its a part of history never the less.
