Trip Report Another trip to bicycling heaven.

We just got back from 3 days in the Eastern Townships - we try and get up there 2-3 times a summer. Stayed in Bromont at the Hotel Bromont, and biked the very picturesque and mostly flat western side of the eastern townships. Also visited some wineries and had lots of good food. I am always amazed at the lack of cars from the USA in this very fun area, just over the border from Vermont. The bicycling on both the quiet back roads and the hundreds of miles of bike paths is some of the best in the world. The wineries are lots of fun, and the food is as good as you'll find in Montreal in many places. Granby, which is an epicenter of bike trails, is a mini Montreal with many interesting restaurants, and a great zoo. Can't wait to go back!
