besides the national parks, where is your favorite place for camping (tent) in alberta. specific names of campsites would be great. thanks.

Writing on Stone Provincial Park by Milk River is very interesting. Lots of HooDoos and ancient drawings. Good tours and the park has shower facilities. Lundbreck Falls near the Crowsnest Pass. Lovely with lots of great day trips to places such as The Frank Slide and Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump and Fort Macleod Museum. <BR><BR>When are you travelling? We are in a flood condition right now in Southern Alberta. The Milk River (where writing on stone is) is very high. Waterton is in a mess. We need a few weeks for cleanup and to get things back to normal.

anyone been to gull lake recently? how's that?

My pick is finding Yamnuska Mountain (kananaskis) and camping at the base (it's free...and rugged - no services).
