airport transportation to Montreal

Hi, I'm taking my 15-year-old daughter to Montreal this Wed. night. My husband and 13-yr-old are joining us thursday night. We're flying into Trudeau and we're staying at the Marriott Residence in downtown on Peel Street (right near McGill Univ, which we are visiting). What's the best way to get from the airport to the hotel? We're getting in kind of late (10:22 p.m.), and I want to make it easy, but not ridiculously expensive. thanks!

I think a flat rate taxi is about $30. At that time of night, that's what I'd recommend. When you exit the terminal, there's a taxi stand right there.

I agree, at that time of evening taxi is best. The busses will not be running very often at that time, and if you're disoriented it's easiest just to hop in a cab. The last time I took a cab from the airport it was 28$ and that was a few years ago, so it may have gone up, but it's not too expensive.

Hi kflodin,

From the airport to central Montreal is a flat $35 (plus tip).

Hope you enjoy your visit to Montreal/McGill. If your family has any questions afterwards, I am sure people on this forum will be glad to respond. My son is a senior at McGill and has loved being in Montreal. I know Layla, who posted a response to your transport question, is also a McGill student.
