4 days in Newfoundland
 

Is 4 days enough time to spend in Newfoundland?

We are thinking of planning two vacations next year…one small one and one bigger one to Europe.

Thinking of doing Newfoundland or Nova Scotia for the smaller trip….Is it still really cold and wintery in April?

Yes.

If you go to Newfoundland, you will need to concentrate on say, the Avalon peninsula with only four days. The place is huge.

Nova Scotia is a better choice for only 4 days. Lots to do in and around Halifax. Leave Newfoundland till you have more time and can really enjoy the out of doors.

april would not be my choice to visit either of these provinces. save it for summertime. i think newfoundland needs about 10 days and nova scotia about 14 days.
