$387 airfare from BOS to YUL

Hello everyone,
My friends and I are planning a long weekend trip from Boston to Montreal in late October 2009 and I came across a flight for $387. I think this is a good price, but thought I'd ask for opinions as I do not normally fly there and am not sure what price range I should expect.
Thank you!

Well, I may be waaaay out of line here (and certainly don't mind being corrected if I am) because I don't fly that route either, but $387 for a flight that's a little over 300+ mi sounds pretty high. More like a walk-up fare. It's too early to get a "good deal" since most airlines don't offer fall sales until late summer. I'd be tempted to wait. Or consider driving since there are several of you.

Having said that, I think if someone believes a fare is good, they ought to take it. And I follow that advice as well.

Is that CAD or US Dollars?
The "base fare" for Air Canada BOS/YUL
is $185 each way plus taxes CAD. But AC always has seat sales so I wld definitely wait to book your flights. Maybe until the beginning of Sept.

I have to say that my first thought was also that it's too high. But I also don't fly that route. I'd check around. Have you looked on www.kayak.com ?

FWIW, I did check kayak, put in some weekend dates for Oct and they show US$387 on UA.

Thank you for all of your help. I think I may hold off and wait to see if there is a better deal out there.
Thanks again!
