Where to go for 6 days after Sydney Congress

Jump to last reply

Hello and thanks in advance,
I'm travelling next August 2015, to a Congress in Sydney - from Spain - and we have 6 days free after the Congress, from August 3 to August 9, after staying 10 days in Sydney, with some spare time. I'm going along with my mother (she's giving a lecture) and she needs some help to walk, and my grown up son.
I thought about Cairns, son my son and I! could go to the Great Reef, and maybe the city would offer some good views and places for my Mom, Could it work?
Some other ideas about where to spent those 6 days?
Best regards,
Rocío
