?Traveler's assistant? - Writer, photographer, products, general?
Hello,
Is it possible that someone on here would be in need of a paid traveler's assistant? For world travel?
- Or, dare I dream the impossible dream?

To dream ... the impossible dream ...
To fight ... the unbeatable foe ...
To bear ... with unbearable sorrow ...
To run ... where the brave dare not go ...
To right ... the unrightable wrong ...
To love ... pure and chaste from afar ...
To try ... when your arms are too weary ...
To reach ... the unreachable star ...
This is my quest, to follow that star ...
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ...
To fight for the right, without question or pause ...
To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause ...
And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm,
when I'm laid to my rest ...
And the world will be better for this:
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach ... the unreachable star ...
To fight ... the unbeatable foe ...
To bear ... with unbearable sorrow ...
To run ... where the brave dare not go ...
To right ... the unrightable wrong ...
To love ... pure and chaste from afar ...

Stormbird, there’s a song for everything. Even Neil Sedaka, who is not my favourite singer, wrote a quite good song about immigration – called “The emigrant” for want of a better title. Appropriate in the “We’ll stop the boats” debate.
And there is a Bob Dylan song for every situation. However, Mark Knopfler seems to be able to capture the mood of a period. “We will remember them” is so about the Edwardian era, a simpler time, before the carnage of the Great War could ever be anticipated.
I have this stupid memory – I remember lyrics easily, and forget people’s names on a routine basis.
I’m in the process of giving some very dated advice for prospective travellers to Venice. Straight out of 1905. http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...uestions-p.cfm refers.
Cheers

Hi PeterSAus,
I can relate as well but for me it is often James Taylor. He can put some beautiful words together and often it is just a line or two and not necessarily the whole song - they just stand out and I hear them and they often seem to mean so much to me.
