Sydney 3 1/2 days

Jump to last reply

We will be in Sydney this November for 3 1/2 days. Is it worth a whole day to go to the Blue Mountains? If so is a tour best or going on our own? We usually don't do tours unless it makes sense time wise. We would also like to visit one beach for swimming and body surfing. We were thinking of Manly beach as we would also get the views from the ferry. Is this a good choice for a safe beach with waves? Any restaurant recommendations in Sydney? Or unique stores?
