singapore

What would be a priority for a 3 day visit to singapore?

Walk in the beautiful tropical Botanical Gardens, check out the Night Safari for a very different type of zoo experience, shop, dine and visit all sorts of temples in Little India, Chinatown and Arab Street for a good dose of multiculturalism, bumboat ride on the river to see the old "godowns" and shophouses, eat chili crabs at UDMC Center on the East Coast for a very local dining experience, wander through the shopping arcades and courtyards of Raffles to appreciate the history and architecture (Singapore Sling purchase fun but not mandatory).
That should keep you busy for 3 days.

You will find much more information about Singapore on the Asian Board rather than this one.

Hi, I'd agree with Lindsey, definately the zoo and the night safari...do the night safari first though; the temples are excellent...eat lunch in an authentic Hawker market, we went to the one at Maxwell Road which is very close to the Sri Manamman Hindu temple; go round Raffles and have dinner at Doc Chengs there, no need to have a Singapore Sling though but do grab a pre-dinner drink in the bar; our bumboat ride was great fun and the Botanical Gardens were excellent.
Have fun

I agree with everything TimManchester said. Loved everything about Singapore. Extremely clean city and very friendly people. I was there by myself, asked directions to the Raffles Hotel (do not miss it). The man rode with me on the bus and just about walked me there. Go out and eat at a Hawkers place...eat with the locals. Wonderful shopping centers. Cabs are cheap.
