Scoring Grass in New Zealand?

Has anyone had any luck procuring grass while vacationing in New Zealand? Best place to try? Thanks.

Ask a sheep? Thanks for a non-run-of-the-mill post. However, I suspect that for most who will read it such things are at best a distant memory.

I can dispense one piece of practical advice though. I was told by someone who should know that if you're carrying a bag with even the memory of Bob Hope in it you should give it a good wash before you leave. The sniffer dogs used by NZ (and Oz) Customs can smell a hemp seed at 100 paces. If they do, you'll be searched.

Perhaps it would even be better if you stayed at home and smoked your grass - as you put it. Its not "cool" or "with it" just down right stupid.

I've seen this type of question on the Lonley Planet board - you might try there.

Booberrycrunch, perhaps when you get back you'll be kind enough to provide us with a trip report and pointers regarding the best place.

HI Booberrycrunch. Are you a Bride to be? I thought I recognized the name from the chat boards (the knot). Unless there is another Booberrycrunch.

Sorry can't help. But thought I'd say Hello.
