New Zealand Itinerary Feedback

Hi. I'm working on an itinerary for a trip to New Zealand in November of 2016. Right now I am planning on renting a car in Queenstown and returning it in Auckland. I have run my itinerary through the AA.co.nz website and the driving times seem easily do able, but I would appreciate getting feedback from someone who has been to New Zealand before. Thank you in advance to anyone who replies!
