Ko Samui accomodations should be at a reasonable price in April/May, since this is the low season for them (but the weather is nice). Check any internet hotel search engine and you should find good bargains at this time.
I also have at home the fax number of the hotel reservation desk for Ko Samui located at Bangkok Airport. Let me know if you want the number and I will try to trace it! Joelle

You'll have no difficultyfinding accommodation when you get to Ko Samui - including transport from what must be the most beautiful airport in the world. If you want accommodation that is not expensive but very comfortable and "authentic" I'd recommend the Ziggy Stardust bungalows on the north coast.

Hi, I'm Jack from Poland, going to Thailand - Koh Samui and Phuket in the second half of March. Do you have any suggestions about transport (air,
train, time,prices)?Thanks

Somewhere on the net I found a site that listed all kinds of hotels and prices with pictures. Though you can;t always believe the pictures. You'll have no trouble booking a room and with the baht down things should be cheap. We stayed at the Sands in Bo Phut on the north of the Island. nice place and nice town if you like quiet.
