Just so excited I had to tell you

I called the Opera House and scored tickets to see The King and I with row f, middle tickets main floor. We will be there in mid October.

Has anyone seen the performance?

Going on 1st October.

Lisa McCune & Teddy Tahu Rhodes were a great pairing in "South Pacific" & I'm looking forward to seeing them in this.

At least Teddy will be in his glorious bald natural state - that rug they had him in in South Pacific was awful.

The nice thing about the Sydney Opera House is the ushers let you move closer once the performance is about to begin if the seats have not sold in front of you!

No plans to see it. But, I did want to suggest that you have a drink at one of the bars etc at the opera House that overlook the harbour.

Perhaps we should have a mini gtg and meet you for coffee or lunch if you have time?

Cathies, what a good idea.

And yes, we are planning on dinner at the Opera Bar before the performance.

By the way, I saw Yul Brenner in a regional performance many, many years ago. Baldness at its best!

Let us know your dates and I'm sure we can organise something. We had a lovely mini gtg in January at the museum of contemporary art which has a casual restaurant with lovely harbour views.
