Try looking at www.webjet.com ( if that doesn't work then add an au at the end) this will give you all of the flights available and the best prices. <BR>I can't imagine that you would not be able to check out the Qantas site for bookings in December. Give them a ring and ask what is going on. Anyway webjet will sort things out for you anyway.
