Hobart accommodation

Jump to last reply

I expect to be in Hobart for a few days at the end of October, & am now looking at accommodation options. Am looking at paying $150-$200 per night (bottom end obviously better) or even less. I'm not sure actually where to stay- I will not have a car & am interested in either the waterfront area or the CBD. I notice that this topic has been covered before but hope that Fodorites have some more up to date recommendations on where to stay, Or (more importantly) where not to stay. I will have 3 nights in Hobart & expect to visit MONA, Bruny Island, Salamanca market, plus general wandering around the area.

Thanks in advance Trotsky
