Hi Ned, <BR> <BR>I agree with Peg that Daydream Island is the best family oriented Whitsunday Island resort. It is owned and run by P&O. <BR> <BR>My only concern with Daydream Island at the moment is that it closed for a major refurbishment of the resort on the 9 SEPT 2000 and as yet they have not posted a re-opening date. When I posted my reply, I did notice the .au address and did think of the long-flight from Aus. to Hawai`i being a problem. <BR> <BR>I had thought that Ned was asking about one of the S. Pacific islands, such as Fiji, Tahiti, Guam, Micronesia, etc. and so replied as I did. <BR> <BR>I was not at all familiar w/ Daydream island but having gone to the website, I certainly agree that it seems like it would be a much more practical and sensible choice than HI. <BR>
