australia and/or new zealand in 2 weeks.. ?

Jump to last reply

i am planning (barely starting to) on going to australia and/maybe new zealand for 2 weeks in mid may. where do i begin ?

A) i will be travelling solo.
B) i am very active but when travelling i don't like to go hiking etc... coz to me i would rather spend that time enjoying the new city/culture/nautre etc.
C) my interests are mainly sightseeing (city and nature), enjoying the culture and food.
D) is 2 weeks time enough to go to both countries ? -- i might even just go to australia. so emphasis on australia.
E) I am a u.s. citizen, do i need a visa to go to either/or countries; if yes, where do i begin with the visa requirement.
F) of course, everyone is on a budget -- me too; so what are the better ways to travel cheaply but still safely (since solo);

Please help me begin!!!
