Adventure Ideas

My brother and I will be Tasmania from November 18th to the 23rd. I always like to mix in some adventure type activities with my touring and hiking.
Lauceston has cable hang gliding but it only operates on the weekends according to my book. I also found absailing on the Gordon River dam that looks like fun.
I am open to new ideas and like some unusual stuff that really makes a trip stand out. Please feel free to share if you know of anything outside of the typical tourist book affairs.
