5 guys travelling the GOR in March

Jump to last reply

Hi I'm planning a trip from Adelaide to Melbourne for my husband, my brother and three of my cousins who are visiting Australia in march for the cricket world cup.

They are coming in from around the world and will stay for a day in Adelaide since that's where the first match is, and then they have about 5 days before the next match in Melbourne.

They are planning to hire a car and drive between the two places.

I wanted to find a pretty, relaxing cottage or hotel for them to spend a few days but not sure where they should stay. Port Fairy seems to have come up a lot in my research.

Any ideas about where to stay, day trips, driving routes etc would be most helpful. They all love wine, good food and nice places to hang out.

Many thanks
Deepa
