2 Couples /w 2 Rv's, best base in Marlborough Region?

Jump to last reply

We have 10 days to explore, we've decided to drive a loop, from/to Christchurch heading North. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for a great RV park in the Blenheim area? We will stay her for 3 nights at least, would love somewhere 'pretty/scenic' to come back to each day to enjoy the days spoils (i.e. wine). We loved the idea of a winery as we've heard that some let you park overnight. Unfortunately one us needs power and that's not available at the wineries.

Love your thoughts on any top place to visit/eat/drink or stay.

Rough plan, Christchurch, Hanmer Springs, Kaikoura (for seals and crayfish, maybe not a night) Blenheim, Nelson, Westport (area), Greymouth (area) and back to Christchurch via Arthur's Pass.

We are all in our early 50's, coming from Australia, we've all been to NZ several times, but not to this area. Traveling from the beginning of May.
