14 days Australia,22 days New Zealand
I need a little help with my itinerary. My wife and i will be going to Oz in Nov. We are both in our late 60's and have been to Australia once many years ago and the we stayed in Cairns for 6 days and 4 days in Sydney. We now have 14 days in Australia and our tentative itinerary is
Melbourne 5 nts
Ulru & Ayers Rock 3 nts
Sydney 6 nts
I realize this is a very short time frame. We thought we might take a tour to Tasmania or the Great Ocean Road. Is there any way we can fit in Kangaroo Island or are we spreading ourselves too thin and are we spending too much time in Melbourne?
We are then flying to New Zealand and will be there for 21 nts and would like to see both islands, but is this possible at a leisurely pace? I'm having trouble figuring out a schedule and don't want to do too much driving since I will be the only driver. I would appreciate any suggestions.
